TrenchBadger Trencher Attachment for MAKITA XGT 40V MAX (40V Battery Power Multi-Head System)

TrenchBadger Trencher Attachment for Makita XGT 40V MAX (Battery Multi‑Head System)

The TrenchBadger Makita XGT attachment gives installers a fast, portable trenching solution powered by the 40V multi‑head system they already own. Its heavy‑duty gearbox, integrated driveshaft pole, and 10" trenching blades cut clean channels up to 10 inches deep for irrigation lines, landscape lighting, fiber drops, dog fencing, and utility routing. The extended handle improves leverage and control, while the deflector assembly keeps debris contained for cleaner trenching in residential and commercial environments.

Built for soils that can be trenched with a standard shovel, this attachment is ideal for contractors working in normal or moderately compacted ground. The optional Support Wheel stabilizes long trench runs and reduces operator fatigue, and the Extended Handle provides better control in awkward angles or elevated cuts. This listing is for the attachment only — the Makita power head, batteries, and any engine‑side components are not included. Warranty coverage is provided by TrenchBadger under normal contractor use.

Usage Warning: Check Soil Conditions First

The TrenchBadger Pro is designed for use in soil conditions that can be trenched with a standard shovel. If the soil is too compacted or dense for a shovel—such as undisturbed clay, coral, caliche, or large embedded rocks—a heavier-duty trencher may be necessary
